LANE 3 NATION!

We would love to know what you have been up to over the off season.  Please post some of the fun things that you have been up to.  It could be something that happened in school, a vacation, something involving swim or just how you are getting ready for our swim summer.  We would like to spotlight our athletes throughout the season.

Please make sure you follow @Lane3Nation on Instagram as we will be sharing a lot of information there.  Please save and refer to this document throughout the season, as we will continue to update it with important information.

This is a very exciting year for LSC.  It is the pool’s 65th Anniversary and we are planning to celebrate our pool in fun ways all summer long.

We prefer all of our swimmers to be in a team suit, but the kids can wear a blue colored suit if you choose not to purchase the team suit. The following link is for our Swim Outlet team store. Whenever our swimmers purchase a suit or any gear needed, please use this link. Swim Outlet Lansdowne Store The swim team gets a kick-back on team purchases. The suit is the same as the past couple of years.  We will be looking to change it next year.

Please fill out this form so we know your child(rens) clothing sizes as we will need it for the team gift at the end of the season. Click HERE to fill out the Google Form. The form will close on June 5th. Please complete ASAP.

ABOUT LANE 3 NATION

When the Lansdowne Swim Team was winless in the B Division and preparing to swim against another winless team to see which team moved to the C Division, each practice was tense. One day Coach Tara called for a kick board relay in Lanes 3 & 4. As each team got tired and quiet, she announced that winning wouldn’t be enough. The team that cheered the loudest, and kicked the hardest would be victorious. With that, Kyle Johnson hopped up on the Lane 3 starting block and screamed, “Lane 3!” to which his relay replied “Ahhhhhh!” We won the last meet of that season, stayed in the B Division, then went on to win the B, and then win the A the last 4 swim seasons. Lane 3 means cheering for your teammates is the most important thing at all times: meets, practices, always.
